After a successful debut with our NBA picks last week, we're back for another article featuring three different games to focus on. We went 3-1 with our NBA bets and given the support and our NHL success, we thought we would continue our best bets for Friday's slate. Without further ado, let's get into it.

With this matchup, the total caught my eye right away as both of these teams are among the top under-hitters this season. The Orlando Magic are 17-25 to the under, while the Boston Celtics are 17-22-1. The under has hit in six of the last seven head-to-head meetings between these teams, including this season’s 108-104 victory for Orlando. During the season, the Magic rank second in defensive rating at 106.9, and the Celtics are sixth at 109.9. The Magic rank last in pace, and the Celtics aren’t far behind at 24th. This should be a slow game with a below-average number of possessions and strong defensive play from both teams. Due to this, I'll happily take the under here. Pick: Under 213.5 (-110) - 1 unit

Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Pelicans

In this one I didn't see much value on the main lines but there are some interesting props in this one, mostly focused on a Pelicans guard. I'm talking about Dejounte Murray who has come on as of late, averaging 22.8 points, 6.5 assists, and 6.3 rebounds over his last six games while shooting a ridiculous 41.7% from 3-point range on 8.0 attempts per contest. Add in that Utah ranks next-to-last in defensive rating and their ability to put up very little resistance on the perimeter, I expect this to continue. On top of this, the Jazz give up the second-most 3-point attempts per game (40.0) while allowing the fifth-most makes (14.2), so cooling Murray off will be a problem considering he has hit 14 threes over his last three games and at least four in each of those games. His line is 1.5 threes which I'm going to pair with him to have six dimes to get flat odds. I will also be playing him to hit three 3’s for plus odds. Picks: Murray to make over 1.5 threes and have 6 assists (-110)- 1 unit. Murray to make 2.5 threes (+160) - 1 unit

Lastly, I like the Thunder, but I don't see value on the ML straight up and can't quite trust the spread. What I do trust is the MVP favourite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to get buckets; he is coming off a 40-pointer in a surprising blowout of the Cavs on Thursday and should be fairly rested for the back to back given he played less than 30 minutes due to the score. While his points prop of 32.5 is incredibly high, we've seen from Gilgeous-Alexander time and time again that can make those types of numbers feel low. He remains the league leader in scoring at 31.6 points per game, and has toppled this prop in nine of his last 15 appearances. SGA has hit this number twice already this season against the Mavericks, having dropped 36 and 39 points in those outings, respectively, while converting at least 65 percent of his shot attempts each time. When it comes to playing on minimal rest, SGA is unfazed as he's scored more than 32.5 points four times and in the two most recent games. Dallas' defence also ranks 20th overall in its last 10 games as the team has gone 2-8 during that span, and center Derek Lively II won't be protecting the paint area Friday as he sits with an ankle injury. Pick: SGA over 32.5 points (-115) - 1 unit
