We are back again for our NBA best bets after only breaking even last week we are all fired up to hit some winners today, so let's get into it. Our record on the season sits at 6-5.

This is an interesting matchup partially as it features two teams that can be a bit hard to read. The Detroit Pistons return home after a five-game road swing and host a Dallas Mavericks team that Detroit has defeated only three times in their last 10 head-to-heads. The Mavs have allowed 115+ in four of its previous five, and the over is 5-0-0 in all five. Detroit doesn’t defend well, either sitting right at the middle of the league in defensive rating and on the higher end of pace. The Pistons have seen the game total exceed the number in over half of its 21 home games. I’m expecting a defence-optional, high-scoring clash in Mowtown on Friday. Pick: Over 229.5 (-110) - 1 unit

The Raptors are playing their best ball of the season and are 7-1 SU and ATS over their last eight games. That turnaround has been sparked by lockdown defense with Toronto leading the NBA in defensive rating over that span. Meanwhile, the Bulls are just 26th in the league in offensive rating over their last eight contests. The Bulls are coming off a 122-100 loss to the Celtics where they shot just 40% from the floor. Chicago was missing leading scorer Zach LaVine (24.0 ppg and 4.5 apg) in that contest and he'll be out tonight as well due to personal reasons. The Bulls have only won two of their last eight and Toronto is finally healthy. It seems like books still haven't adjusted for the significant strides that Toronto has made on the defensive end of the floor and its improved health. That makes the Raps very tough for me to ignore especially with the Bulls best offensive player sidelined. Pick: Raptors -3 (-110) - 1 unit

This matchup didn't initially jump off the page at me but after further review. I am a big fan of a line here and it's likely not what you think. I really liked this New Orleans team coming into this game and I didn't think the lack of an experienced center would hurt them this much. But do you know what has hurt them the most? Injuries. Williamson, Ingram, Dejounte Murray and McCollum along with Murphy are very talented players who can keep up with Boston. They kept up with Boston on Jan. 12 when Murray scored 26 points, grabbed nine boards and dished out eight assists in their one-point loss in which Ingram didn't play. The Celtics are cruising right now, doing just what it takes to win games like this. It doesn't matter if they win by double digits or two points. Make it two in this game. Pick: Pelicans +11 (-110) - 1 unit

I'll admit this one may be the most precarious but I can't shake the feeling the Suns will steal this one even as visitors. The Suns are coming off a 121-113 loss to Minnesota but had won three straight previous to that. The Suns will be seeking revenge after a 109-105-road loss at Golden State earlier this season. Phoenix is 7-2 ATS in its last 10 when trying to avenge a road loss vs. an opponent. The Warriors are coming off back-to-back wins, but after posting a 116-109 victory over the Thunder as nine-point underdogs, everything points to a bit of a letdown here in this spot. Lastly, you have to think especially with their relative struggles Durant is extra motivated against the Warriors and Chef Curry. I am expecting the Suns to dig deep here and to find a way to deliver the goods. Pick: Suns ML (-120) - 1 unit
